Important Information
Understanding The Terms
- Progressive rates: The first $5,000 is calculated at the 80% consignor rate, the portion from $5,001 through $10,000 at 85%, and the portion above $10,000 at 90%.
- $40 minimum service fee per lot: A minimum fee applies to every consigned lot. When the calculated commission is less than $40, the minimum fee applies instead.
- Unsold property: The $40 service fee remains applicable when a lot does not sell or does not meet its reserve.
- Included services: Standard professional photography, cataloging and auction marketing are included without a separate upfront charge unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Signed agreement controls: Estimates shown on this page are illustrative. The final consignment agreement and settlement statement govern the transaction.
Property is accepted selectively. Reviewing prior Collective Hudson auctions and results can help determine whether an item is consistent with the quality, value and categories typically offered in our sales.
