The Rare Autographed Live Aid Concert Program, a treasure trove of approximately 130 original autographs, represents not just a memento but a monumental piece of music history. This program from the iconic July 13, 1985, Philadelphia concert captures the essence of an era defined by rock and roll, acting, and Olympic excellence. The 64-page program, a vivid record of this historic day, connects us to a global event that reached an estimated 1.9 billion people across 150 nations, nearly 40% of the world's population at the time.

Contained within are the autographs of nearly every musician who performed in Philadelphia, with notable exceptions like Teddy Pendergrass. The program features luminaries such as Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Ozzie Osbourne with Black Sabbath, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and many others, including those who played pivotal roles but were not photographed in the program. Phil Collins uniquely performed at both the London and Philadelphia events, while artists like Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, John Paul Jones, Nile Rodgers, and Madonna, despite not having dedicated photo pages, left their signatures, further authenticating their participation.

Adding to the program's uniqueness are signatures from other celebrities like Chevy Chase, Cher, Paul Stanley of "Kiss," and various sports figures and Olympic champions, along with Bill Graham, the legendary manager of The Rolling Stones. Even Wilson Goode, the Mayor of Philadelphia, left his signature, making the program an extraordinary compilation and a historically precise record of the 1985 Live Aid concert.

This collection, diligently assembled by a dedicated volunteer part of the event's tech team, not only commemorates an unprecedented global act of unity and humanitarian support but also stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Live Aid. As time progresses, the value of this program continues to rise, especially as many of the celebrated signatories have since passed, making it a priceless artifact of history and a tribute to the indelible impact of Live Aid on the world.
