Artworks (180+ lots): Notable paintings include works by Willem De Kooning (oil), Alfred Leslie (oil collage), Pablo Picasso, Wolf Kahn (oil), Vasarely, Paul Cesar Helleu (gouache), Arthur Carles Beecher (gouache), Wilfredo Lam (oil), and John Wollaston's portrait of the mayor of Philadelphia from around 1750. There are also captivating pieces by Francesco Alegiani (trompe l’oeil), Henry Parton, Mark Rothko (silkscreen), Arthur Davies, G. Braque, and Edwin Blashfield's grand renaissance revival oil. Additionally, the collection features exquisite Chinese export silver, an early stone-carved Foo dog temple guardian statue, and intricately designed furniture.
